Description
You don’t have to wait for a mated queen mailed in from who knows where! You can get daughters of our Varroa Sensitive Hygiene (VSH) queens. Treatment free, Flathead County winter survivors. Capped cells will be between 9-14 days old ready to emerge the 16th day. Simply make sure all other queen cells have been destroyed in your queen-less hive and gently push the cell cap into the wax. She will emerge on day 16, go on her mating flight 1 week later, and be laying eggs 7-10 days after that. Reserve back orders will be taken for the next spring and early summer. Please keep in mind queen season in NW Montana starts much later than anywhere else. You can’t rush nature!
